1. Data controller
The Pellio app is published by Fabulette, the personal project of an independent developer, with no commercial activity.
Contact (GDPR and any other question): team@fabulette.net
2. The principle: your data does not leave your device
Pellio works entirely locally. Your refills, purchases, prices, suppliers, appliances and servicing records are stored in your device’s memory and do not leave it.
- No account: no email address, no password, no phone number.
- No sync, no online storage, no backup on our servers.
- No advertising, no advertising tracker, no data sold on.
- Nobody reads your logbook: its contents are not technically accessible to us.
Your data only leaves your device if you export it — a CSV file, a PDF document or a summary shared as text — to the destination of your choice. That file is yours and passes through none of our servers.
3. The only thing we receive: anonymous usage statistics
To know which functions are actually used and where the app fails, Pellio records technical events and sends them, when a connection is available, to a database hosted in Europe (Supabase). Events are queued on the device and leave when the network comes back: the app never needs a connection in order to work.
What an event contains:
- a session identifier — a random number, specific to one use of the app, which identifies neither you nor lets us follow you from one session to the next;
- the action performed, its category and its timestamp — a screen opened, a technical error encountered;
- technical characteristics: platform, system version, make and model, screen size, device language and app version.
What an event never contains: your quantities, your prices, your suppliers, the name of your appliances or of your home, nor any permanent person or device identifier.
These statistics are used solely by the app’s developer, to fix and improve it. They are not sold, exchanged, or passed to an advertising partner — there is none.
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Running the app (local data) | No collection: processing happens on your device |
| Improving and fixing the app (session statistics) | Legitimate interest |
4. What the app asks access to on your device
A single permission is declared: internet access, to send the statistics described above and nothing else.
Pellio asks for no camera, no photos, no location, no contacts, no notifications. It reads no sensor and connects to no heating appliance: everything it shows is derived from what you have entered.
5. Retention
- Your data (refills, purchases, appliances, servicing): kept on your device for as long as you wish. It disappears when the app is uninstalled.
- Usage statistics: kept for 12 months, then deleted.
6. Processors and transfers
- Supabase: hosting of the statistics database, on servers located in Europe.
No other company receives data from Pellio.
7. Your rights (GDPR)
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, object to and port your data. In practice, these rights are exercised directly in the app: the data is with you, and you alone have access to it.
For the usage statistics, exercising those rights runs into their very nature — they are attached to no identifiable person, and we have no way of finding the ones that came from your device. For any question: team@fabulette.net.
If, after contacting us, you believe your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).
To erase all of your data, see the steps on the Delete your Pellio data page.
8. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated, in particular if the app grows new services — sync between devices and household sharing are planned, and would change this document. Any substantial change will be notified in the app.
For the terms governing the service, see the Pellio terms of use.
