What is Notenda ?
Notenda is a private space for all that you do anywhere else : your thoughts and memories, but also the monitoring of your daily life. Food Journal, book of health of an animal, travel memories, track athlete, ideas, lists,… you organize your notes as you wish, in a space that is yours.
What is it that I can write in Notenda ?
Everything that matters to you. Notenda does not lock you not in a single-use : some keep a diary, others follow their meals, the health of their pet, their training or their travel. The text is unrestricted, regardless of your use.
What is the difference between a diary, a category and a memo ?
A memo is an individual note : a text, with its date. A category consists of notes of the same kind (for example, ” Dining “, “Appointment” or ” Ideas “), with its own icon and its own colour. A journal is a container that contains several categories, and memos around a theme (” Health “, ” Journey “…). You can create as many newspapers as you want.
How do I filter my memos by category ?
In a newspaper, each memo is attached to a category. You can choose to display memos for a particular category by selecting it : it is the fastest way to find what you’re looking for without scrolling through the whole list.
And then I look for in my memos ?
On mobile, you can enter a keyword to display the memos the container.
How to extract text from a picture ?
With your mobile, Notenda can recognize the text on a photo and insert it directly into a memo. Practice to retrieve a handwritten note, a page or a ticket without having to retype it.
Security and privacy
My memos are they protected ? Who can read them ?
Your memos belong to you. Person, in Fabulette, not the bed. According to the mode you choose, they remain only on your device, is encrypted on your device before sending it to our servers. In both cases, their content is never exploited.
Do you collect my personal information ?
Notenda is thought to minimalism. The content of your memos is never used, nor shared. We may collect, with your consent, some technical data (incident reports, usage statistics) for the sole purpose of improving the application.
What happens if I forget my passphrase ?
Your passphrase protects the access to your data. To ensure the confidentiality, Fabulette does not hold a copy : therefore, we cannot recover it for you. Keep it in a safe place — without it, the protected data can not be unlocked. This is the price and the security, privacy, real.
Local storage and synchronization
What is the difference between the local mode and the synchronization ?
In local mode, memos remain on your device only, without sending it to a server. In sync mode, your memos are encrypted on your device before being sent, so you can find them on several devices. The two modes are exclusive : you choose the one that suits you.
Can I use Notenda on multiple devices ?
Yes, by enabling the sync. Your memos are available on all your devices, without any additional cost related to the number of devices used.
Can I switch from one mode to the other ?
The mode selection is done during the configuration of the application, and then in the settings screens.
Data and backup
How to export or import my data ?
You can export your data in JSON format, and then re-import if needed. The export allows you to keep a copy of your notes outside of the application.
You can also make a PDF file of your memos to memory.
Can I recover my memos if I change my phone ?
If synchronization is enabled, your memo will follow you on your new device as soon as you login to your account. In local mode, remember to export your data before you change your device.
Age and the protection of minors
Why Notenda wonder he be my year of birth ?
To comply with the regulations that protects minors, Notenda need to know your age. This information is only used to tailor your experience and to apply the protections provided by the law. We do not store more than is strictly necessary, and once you are major, it is automatically deleted.
Parental consent is required for children under 16 years of age who wish to synchronize their data on the internet.
Practical Aspects
The application does it work offline ?
Yes. Notenda is designed to work without a connection : your memos remain accessible at all times. If synchronization is enabled, it is done automatically as soon as you are online again.
On which platforms Notenda is it available ?
Notenda is available on Android and iOS.
The app is free ?
Notenda is available for free, but limit the online storage.
For 20 days, you get the version ” Preface ” with all the features.
Then, you’re version ” Draft ” with the advertising.
Soon to come, subscriptions to remove advertising and to get more storage will be available.
